With books everywhere, what’s the best way to get them to your doorstep?
A StranFords bookshop has found that the answer to that question has been a little more complex than we might have thought.
The bookshop owner, who wished to remain anonymous, said the best place to start with the books is usually the bookstore, because it usually carries a good selection of titles.
The Stranfurys have a store in the heart of the city’s Stranfield neighborhood.
The books are usually stored in the back of the store and are easy to access, she said.
“We’re usually selling about 25 to 30 titles a week.
It’s a pretty busy area and we tend to fill up very quickly,” she said of the shop.
The store has become a popular location for customers to come and buy books.
“Most of the time we’re picking up the first five books we can find in the shop,” she explained.
The books are then sent to the Stranfamilies Bookshop in Stranburgh, a nearby suburb.
It will then be delivered to the family home, which has the books delivered to its door in the morning.
“The books that we’ve got here are a great value.
It goes to our local charity, the Stranefamilies,” she added.
But with bookstores being such an important part of our everyday lives, it’s important to ensure that they are accessible for all.
“When you come into the shop, you can see the books that are there, but you can’t see what’s inside,” she told the ABC.
“If you come in and they’ve got a couple of books that you want to see, you have to tell them and they’ll tell you where to get the books, which is not always easy.”
Ms Stewart said she felt it was important to educate people about the importance of having a bookshop.
“I think it’s fantastic that people have a place to shop and buy things and books, but I think it also has to be a safe place to do that,” she noted.
“There’s no excuse not to have a book shop.
It could be anywhere, but it needs to be accessible for people.”
